Rainy Day in April

So it hasn't stopped raining all day (you can see the downpour behind me). I'm chillin' in my favorite spot: the empty box on Mommy's desk. What's worse than the rain is that Mommy is doing her taxes and isn't paying attention to me!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well. Maybe later I'll walk all over her keyboard and erase her files...

A Beautiful Spring Day in the Backyard

Today was a beautiful day and I was helping mommy in the backyard as she cleaned up the garden. There were lots of birds flying about, chasing each other and landing on the feeders for a snack. I wish I could have snacked on them! But no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't jump high enough to reach the birds at the feeder; I had to be content to watch them from below. Pure torture!

Is Anyone Out There?

Since I'm new to this blogging thing, I wanted to see if there were any other cats out there with blogs and so I started searching the Blogosphere and to my delighted surprise I am not alone. I came across a site call Cats with Blogs which lists 120 other feline blogs and counting. I think I'll try to become cat blog 121!

Welcome to my blog. My name is Lexi. I'm a five year old Persian-domestic short hair cross living in Toronto, Ontario with my mommy and her mommy. I have a great life: a big backyard, lots of comfy places to sleep around the house, and lots of love. My mommy takes lots of pictures of me (even if I'm not the most cooperative subject) and so I decided should share those pictures and my adventures with all of you. I hope you enjoy.
